Edinburgh Airport - How to get there
Edinburgh airport is 7 miles west of the city, just off the A8 road towards Glasgow. From Edinburgh take the A8 past the Grogar roundabout and follow signs to the airport. From Glasgow take the M8 to Junction 2, then take the M9 north to Junction 1 (the Newbridge roundabout), turn off then onto the A8.
The nearest railway station is Edinburgh Waverley mainline. Waverley station is the main station in Edinburgh and trains run to and from Waverley from the rest of the UK. Buses run from Waverley Bridge (next to the train station) to the airport forecourt
Taxis (cabs) are available from a designated rank beside the coach park outside the UK arrivals hall. A typical journey time to the city centre takes around 25 minutes and fares vary according to the distance travelled. Many of the taxis are wheelchair accessible.

Service number 100, (Airline 100) an express bus service from the airport to Edinburgh city centre operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes and terminates at Waverley Bridge, near to the main railway station and bus station and is just off the city's main street, Princes Street.
A new bus service, number 35 operates from Ocean Terminal (east of the City Centre) via City Centre, Edinburgh Park Station to Edinburgh Airport. It operates from the bus stand in front of the Airlink bus stop to the City Centre and runs a 20-minute service departing Ocean Terminal.
A bus service, operated by Lothian Buses, operates between Edinburgh's Waverley Station and the Airport.
